Italian Sausage Chili


2 1/2 pounds of hot and mild Italian sausage
1 onion
2 tbls olive oil
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of tomato purée
2 cups water
2 tbls of Henry Langdon's roasted spice
A tiny pinch of cinnamon
Tsp of dried oregano
2 cans of cannelloni beans (drained and rinsed)
1 chopped green pepper

In large pot add olive oil, sausage and chopped onion, pinch of salt, cook until meat is crumbly (about 10 mins)

Add spices including a tiny pinch of cinnamon, add tomato purée and water, bring to simmer for about 30 mins. Add peppers and cannelloni beans to the mix, cook another 30 minutes until peppers are tender. Top with choice of cheese, onions, sour cream, a squeeze of lime and avocado. Serve with cornbread. Enjoy!
