Chicken Rolls with Smoked Paprika and
4 Free range chicken fillets
Henry Langdon Smoked Paprika and Basil Sea Salt Rub
Olive oil for cooking
Optional: Ingredients to stuff the chicken (cheese, bacon, onions,
Time: Prep time 15 minutes, Cook time 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 350ºF
Place a chicken fillet onto a chopping board and slice it in two, horizontally,
giving you two fillet sized slices.
Repeat with the remaining fillets.
Place each slice separately between baking paper and, using a mallet, gently
flatten to an even thickness. You need them quite thin.
Sprinkle with Henry Langdon Smoked Paprika and Basil Sea Salt. The
amount you apply depends on how strong you want the flavor.
Add any ingredients desired to be rolled into the middle of the chicken.
Roll each slice and use toothpicks to hold in place.
Heat the oil in an oven proof dish and add the chicken, turning until lightly
browned all over.
If you are doing vegetables, add them to the pan with the chicken rolls and
gently turn to coat with the pan juices.
Place the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Check to ensure
the chicken and vegetables are cooked, then remove from the oven and
If the vegetables are not cooked but the chicken is, remove the chicken and
keep warm in a covered container while vegetables finish cooking.
Hint: The pan juices make a great base for a sauce of gravy!
