Nectavé is produced from the blue agave plant grown in Mexico. Typically, the plant grows to a height of 6 feet, at which time the nectar is ripe. The plant stores it’s sweetness in the pina, a hard core that resembles a pineapple after the plants leaf has been peeled away. Once the pina has been crushed and milled, the juices are heated and filtered, resulting in sweet nectar that is the perfect healthy replacement for conventional sugars and syrups.
